Gavin from Skribr reviews Robert Oster Maroon 1789 ink. Robert Oster Signature inks are handmade in Australia and are inspired by the Australian bush. One of the newest additions to the Robert Oster Signature ink range is Maroon 1789. Maroon 1789 comes from the French word Maron which means chestnut. Maroon 1789 is a well saturated reddish brown ink which shades and flows well.  Tested on Rhodia paper with a TWSBI Diamond 580 AL Pink fountain pen.
